TRANSPORTATION
Upon arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, you can take a taxi service which is available to Jerusalem and then to Bethlehem and/or Hebron. For your convenience, you may arrange with the conference chair to send a taxicab to pick you up after your arrival at the airport. Please email us with your itinerary information at palmathphysics@gmail.com. For those who arrive to Jericho from Jordan, taxi service is available around the clock to take you to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, or Hebron.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Tel-Aviv Airport
Tel-Aviv International Airport (TLV) is 60 KM / 37.28 MI southeast to the Bethlehem and is about one hour driving distance to the hotel. Once you leave TLV airport take highway 1 East to Jerusalem. Then begin south and then take Gilo Street towards Rachel Tomb on Hebron Road to Bethlehem, cross border check point to the hotel on Jerusalem-Hebron Road.
From Jericho – Jordan River
If you are traveling through Jordan and then crossing to Palestine by land, once you arrive to Jericho which is 55 KM / 34 MI northeast of Bethlehem and is about one hour driving distance to the hotel. Leaving Jericho take route 90 south and then take highway 1 West to Jerusalem. Then begin south and then take Gilo Street towards Rachel Tomb on Hebron Road to Bethlehem, cross border check point to the hotel on Jerusalem-Hebron Road.
