توصيات الجلسة الختامية لمؤتمر الطاقة والبيئة 2013
1. زيادة الوعي في المجتمع الفلسطيني على كافة المستويات لترشيد استهلاك الطاقة والعناية بالبيئة من خلال عمل ورش عمل وزيارات ومنشورات، ودعم الجهود لإيجاد واستخدام مصادر بديلة للطاقة في فلسطين.
2. تطبيق سياسات بيئية واضحة والضغط باتجاه سن قوانين وتشريعات متعلقة:
- استخدام الطاقة الشمسية في توفير الطاقة اللازمة للمنازل والمصانع ومنح تسهيلات لذلك.
- عدم منح تراخيص البناء للمنشآت السكنية والصناعية قبل الحصول على شهادة تدقيق استهلاك الطاقة.
- التطبيق الصارم للقوانين فيما يتعلق في فتح المحاجر الجديدة بدون عمل دراسات جيوفيزائية وبيئية مسبقة
3. توعية الجمهور بضرورة تقليل المخلفات الصلبة من خلال إتباع الأنظمة والتعليمات في مجال فرز المخلفات.
4. دعم الباحثين من الأكاديميين والطلبة في مجال الطاقة والبيئة والتغير المناخي وتوفير منح دراسية طويلة الأمد وقصيرة الأمد من خلال إنشاء صندوق الطاقة والبيئة.
5. العمل على زيادة التعاون بين الجامعات والقطاع الصناعي والجمهور من اجل العمل على تقليل التلوث من خلال ابتكار طرق خلاقة لمعالجة النفايات
6. دعم استخدام مواد بناء صديقة للبيئة في مجال الإنشاءات والبنى التحتية من اجل تقليل انبعاث غاز CO2 في الجو.
7. العمل على إنشاء مدن ذكية تركز على الاستخدام الفعال للطاقة واستخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة في حماية البيئة من التلوث.
8. التأكيد على عدم قبول مشاركة المستوطنات الإسرائيلية في أي مشروع له علاقة بالمياه العادمة أو النفايات الصلبة.
